The Scorpion Rally STR sits firmly in the 80/20 road-biased adventure bracket. Wide, deeply-cut blocks with generous spacing clear hard-packed dirt and wet tarmac without squirming under power. The compound warms quickly on a damp commute and holds shape through a long summer tour without greasing off. 120/70-18 is the OEM front fitment for big-tank adventure twins and a popular swap on scrambler-style customs running an 18-inch front. Tubeless radial carcass gives you proper feedback when the surface changes mid-corner. M+S marked, V-rated to 149mph. Expect 6,000–8,000 miles from a front used mostly on road with the occasional green lane.
