Rim Locks
Run low pressures off-road and the tyre will try to spin on the rim under power or braking. A rim lock stops that. It clamps the bead to the rim, holds the tyre in place, and saves the tube valve from being sheared off. Match the lock width to your rim's internal width, and check your tyre is the right carcass type to take one. Most off-road tubed setups need a lock per wheel; trials and some trail bikes vary.
