The radial front carries the carcass stiffness for braking into a roundabout with a pillion and panniers, then leans on a silica-rich compound for grip when the surface goes greasy. Divergent grooves clear standing water without chopping up the contact patch. Wear pattern stays even across the shoulders — no cupping after a summer of motorway miles, which is what kills most cruiser fronts. OEM fitment on Harley Touring 114s and Indian Chieftains. Expect 8–12,000 miles depending on load and how hard you brake.
