Pure track rubber — NHS marked, no road use. SC1 is Pirelli's softest front slick, built for moderate track temperatures where mechanical grip off the carcass does the work. The high-curvature profile tips in fast and holds a tight line on corner entry; feedback through the bars is direct, almost talkative, which is what you want when you're chasing apex speed. Warmers are mandatory. Cold, this tyre tells you nothing. Up to temperature, it gives you the front-end confidence to brake deep and trail to the apex. Dry sessions only. Pair with a matched SC-compound rear and check pressures hot, not cold.
