The Cruisetec front turns a heavy cruiser in faster than the chassis suggests it should. Metzeler's radial carcass holds shape under the weight that kills bias-ply fronts at motorway speeds — no squirm out of long sweepers, no vague centre on crowned A-roads. The tread blocks are arranged to clear standing water at speed and keep a flat contact patch as the tyre wears, so the right shoulder doesn't scrub flat 3,000 miles before the rest. Compound runs warm enough for spirited B-road work yet returns 8–12,000 miles of touring use. Stock fitment on several factory baggers and tourers, and the obvious replacement when the original front squares off.
